Tourn\u00e9 clandestinement, le film marque le retour triomphal d\u2019un auteur interdit de tournage et de sortie du territoire pendant plus d\u2019une d\u00e9cennie. Une Palme politique, puissante et charg\u00e9e de sens.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans \u00ab Un simple accident \u00bb, Vahid, un m\u00e9canicien iranien, croit reconna\u00eetre en Eghbal, un client amput\u00e9, l\u2019un de ses anciens tortionnaires. Le doute s\u2019installe. Pour en avoir le c\u0153ur net, il l\u2019enl\u00e8ve et organise une confrontation avec d\u2019autres anciens d\u00e9tenus. Derri\u00e8re ce dispositif \u00e0 la fois simple et gla\u00e7ant, Jafar Panahi signe un huis clos haletant sur la m\u00e9moire traumatique, la qu\u00eate de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et les cicatrices invisibles de la r\u00e9pression.<br>Tourn\u00e9 \u00e0 huis clos entre T\u00e9h\u00e9ran et Ispahan, le film m\u00eale com\u00e9die absurde et tension dramatique, avec un humour noir qui rappelle Beckett ou Haneke. La critique y a vu un chef-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre de cin\u00e9ma allusif, puissant dans sa retenue, f\u00e9roce dans sa d\u00e9nonciation. Le jury pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Juliette Binoche a salu\u00e9 une \u0153uvre \u00ab courageuse et profond\u00e9ment humaine \u00bb, tandis que la presse \u00e9voque une Palme d\u2019or \u00ab m\u00e9rit\u00e9e et historique \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jafar Panahi, le retour d\u2019un cin\u00e9aste b\u00e2illonn\u00e9<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Figure embl\u00e9matique du cin\u00e9ma iranien, Jafar Panahi n\u2019avait pas mis les pieds \u00e0 Cannes depuis 2003. Interdit de filmer, de voyager, emprisonn\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 rel\u00e2ch\u00e9 en 2023 apr\u00e8s une gr\u00e8ve de la faim et une mobilisation internationale. \u00ab Un simple accident \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 tourn\u00e9 sans autorisation, dans la clandestinit\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019image de ses pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents films comme \u00ab Ceci n\u2019est pas un film \u00bb ou \u00ab Taxi T\u00e9h\u00e9ran \u00bb.<br>Samedi soir, lorsqu\u2019il est mont\u00e9 sur sc\u00e8ne aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Cate Blanchett, les larmes aux yeux, Panahi a livr\u00e9 un discours sobre et poignant : \u00ab Ce qui est le plus important aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est la libert\u00e9 de notre pays. \u00bb La salle Debussy, debout, a longuement applaudi. Le symbole \u00e9tait d\u2019autant plus fort que la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie avait \u00e9t\u00e9 bri\u00e8vement perturb\u00e9e par une panne d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de plusieurs heures, soup\u00e7onn\u00e9e d\u2019\u00eatre un sabotage.<br>Cette Palme d\u2019or vient consacrer bien plus qu\u2019un film : elle c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la t\u00e9nacit\u00e9 d\u2019un homme qui n\u2019a jamais cess\u00e9 de filmer, m\u00eame dans le silence impos\u00e9. Dans un contexte de r\u00e9pression persistante en Iran, elle r\u00e9sonne comme un acte de r\u00e9sistance artistique et un appel \u00e0 la
